1. General principle
Bad Habits Buddy respects your privacy. The app is designed primarily around on-device habit tracking and does not rely on advertising trackers for its core functionality.
2. Habit data
Habit names, streak data, relapse history, craving counters, and related notes are created by you inside the app and are intended for personal tracking use within the app environment.
3. Purchases and RevenueCat
To activate and manage premium access, the app uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process technical subscription-related information such as purchase receipts, subscription identifiers, entitlement status, and device-related metadata needed to validate premium access.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. Bad Habits Buddy does not directly process your bank card details or payment credentials.
5. Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app may schedule local reminders on your device to support milestones or habit consistency. Notification permissions are managed through iOS settings.
6. Analytics
The current app build uses internal event logging for app behavior and purchase flow events. No advertising SDK is used in the app based on the current implementation reviewed for this site.
7. Sharing
When you generate share cards, the content is created from your in-app progress data. You decide whether to share it externally and whether to keep certain habit details private.
8. Data sharing and sale
Bad Habits Buddy is not designed to sell your personal data. Outside of service providers required for subscriptions and platform operation, the app does not aim to share personal information for advertising purposes.
9. Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect the integrity of the app and related services. However, no digital service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
